Japanese history and her culture are so ancient, layered and varied that the country could prove to be quite intimidating to the first time visitor. But the world renowned Japanese work ethic, ethos, philosophy and commitment to perfection attracts thousands of foreigners and they leave the country as better human beings.

Japan is an island nation off the east coast of Asia. It actually consists of 6852 islands, only 430 of which are inhabited. Tokyo, the capital city is said to be the most densely populated city in the world.

Knowing the language enables you to communicate effortlessly with the locals, find jobs with ease and in a million small ways, it makes life so much more comfortable, fulfilling and interesting!

Fun fact - Tokyo metro actually employs people to push people into the metro coaches. Though if you were the one being pushed, it wouldn't be so much fun, right?
